Ceremony of Kapparot (Atonement)

 

The ten days starting with Rosh Hashanah and ending with Yom Kippur are commonly known as the Days of Repentance.

This is a time for serious introspection, a time to consider the sins of the previous year and repent before Yom Kippur.

For your convenience, the Ceremony of Kapparot is done via the following ways:

 

  • In ISRAEL, while you are present at Congregation Ohel Moshe

  • At Congregation Ohel Moshe, at your presence

  • You may give us the desired names by phone, mail, or via our website, and an absentee Kapparot will be done.

The Price for each Kapparot (Chicken or Rooster) is $26

The fowl is given to the needy families.
